Special thanks to Michael Monk at Develop IT for his years of service to the club and we are relieved that Michael will continue on in the background to help the club. I recently used Michael to update our business website and hosting and he did a great job and was easy to work with so if you have a similar project in mind get a hold of Michael. https://www.dvelopit.co.nz/ The winter challenge has started, not a lot of quantity, but QUALITY. Snapper up to 90cm! Yes yes in Mokau of all places, who would have thought? But see the tournament details below and get amongst it. I have had a couple of trips to Raglan and spring snapper were in at 40metres. Then a trip up the firth with one of my favorite young fishos Buck, who was like a kid in a candy store amongst the nice snapper being caught. WSFC AGM & PrizegivingThis year's Waikato Sport Fishing Club AGM & Annual Prizegiving will be held 7pm Tuesday 8th October at the clubrooms, 499 Grantham Street, Hamilton. All paid 2024/2025 WSFC members attending the AGM & Prizegiving go into a draw for a $250 voucher.
This years guest speaker is Life Member and Committee Member Bob Gutsell. We will get to hear about Bob's recent fishing trip to Mexico and his visit to the International Game Fishing Association headquarters in Florida.
