WELCOME TO THE

WAIKATO SPORT FISHING CLUB

We are based in Hamilton, Waikato and our club rooms are situated on the mighty Waikato River which is available for hire to members and general public.

We are affiliated with the New Zealand Sport Fishing Council (NZSFC) and the International Game Fish Association (I.G.F.A). This allows our members the ability to enter other affiliated club’s tournaments, request courtesy weigh-in’s, access to other affiliated club’s facilities and much more.

We as a club host a range of different fishing tournaments throughout the year. From hard-core game fishing tournaments, to family orientated fishing weekends away. More information on our events is available on our events page.

We offer a range of membership options available for everyone. Club memberships provides you with affiliation to the NZSFC and I.G.F.A, club newsletter, exclusive access to our club events plus much more.
